I have only been to one breakfast place that did a breakfast pizza and that was in Napa a couple years ago it was okay nothing to blog about, But today we had some extra dough and decided instead of eating the normal family meal we would make something just for the bakers.
Started with 380 grams of baguette dough we just shaped very rustic long and skinny then indented around the outside for a nice crust and also to hold the toppings, fresh mozzarella, red onion, smoked bacon, and cooked russet potatoes, then spread some béchamel sauce on top.
Baked this all together for about 10 minutes while that was in the oven, cooked two sunny side up eggs when the bread came out of the oven, topped with the eggs. If there was a second breakfast all about me this would be it, cut off pieces of pie and dip in a runny egg garnished with chives, black pepper, and fleur del sel.
This has to be on the menu it just reads breakfast bakery.
